FAQ

Q- I see you're based in Austin, but I live in a different state or part of the world. Will there be a travel fee?

A- Yes & no! If you're based within the USA, there is absolutely 0% travel fee. If you or your elopement is based out of the US, there will be a travel fee, but you it will never exceed plane tickets & the hotel stay. Simple as that!

Q-  How do I book you for my wedding?

A- If you email me, at addie@addierock.com, we can chat about your date + rates!

Q- When will we receive our photos or video?

A- It depends on the size of your wedding. If you have an elopement or smaller wedding, normally it takes 3-5 business days. If you book the largest wedding package, it can take up to 3 weeks.

Q- How many images will I get?

A- Again, it depends on the size + length of the wedding, and it is hard to judge adequately, but normally I can deliver 45-55 photos per hour of the wedding.

Q- Do you edit the images?

A- Yes. I edit for color correcting, cropping, a general aesthetic, and exposure.

Q- Do you send the raw files?

A- No. Unfortunately, I do not ever send the raw files. A huge part of photography is the editing, it’s essentially where the magic happens! Just like I wouldn’t expect Harry Potter to give me a wand without magic abilities, you shouldn’t expect me to give our raws without my editing. I wholeheartedly promise that you will get every photo that I deem good enough for what you and your loved ones deserve, and yes, that totally includes derpy faces and awkward dance moves.

Q- Do you bring a second shooter?

A- Yup! She’s my right-hand man. It’s always nice having multiple angles of the same moment or having photos/moments I may have missed while capturing one thing, but my second shooter saw!

Q- How do I access my photos?

A- Your unique online gallery is in a password-protected part of my site.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to pop over to email and send your Q to addie@addierock.com! I'll be more than happy to assist!

"We got to shoot with Addie during golden hour on a beautiful spring evening and it was so much fun!

SHE KNEW HOW TO READ THE LIGHT AND WAS PREPARED WITH A VARIETY OF POSES.

At the last minute, we asked if we could bring our dog and she was totally on board! Of course, the photos are gorgeous and she captured the best candids on top of all of the great poses.

She also had prompts to make us more comfortable.

If you love romantic, real moments captured forever, Addie is your photographer!"

I can't praise Addie enough for our wedding photos! She did an amazing job for someone who only had about 2 hours to capture everything from getting ready, the ceremony, the toast, family pictures, and so much more!

SHE WAS SUPER SWEET AND TOOK BEING PULLED IN TEN DIRECTIONS AT ONCE WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE! SHE WAS ALSO VERY PROFESSIONAL AND TIMELY WITH HER COMMUNICATION AS WELL AS STAYING INFORMED ON WHAT PICTURES WERE WANTED.

Not to mention I received my photos in less than 24 hours! Sweet Addie... I can't wait to say that you took my pictures when you get famous! Thank you for everything!!!

 MISSION

Now that we're properly introduced & basically BFF's, I wanted to take a second and explain what my mission is, in this business, and how I can help you, as a bride or groom-to-be.

First off, congratulations on getting engaged! It's such an exciting time, and I'm sure you're overwhelmed with the special day that's fast approaching.  I absolutely love the idea of being a part of your special day, and I am a total believer in a thing called love. Capturing the memories of that day + how you felt, is just part of what I do, but I couldn't be more excited and grateful to be able to do it.

Second, I strongly believe that the moments you should be focusing on are the ones you'll hold dearest for years to come, like the moment you place the ring on your spouse’s finger, recite your vows, & were (and always will be!) so excited to share the rest of your life with them. My job is to make sure that moment is captured, so you can rest easy about never forgetting it.

GOALS

While snapping photos of your outstanding dress that took you months to choose, or the first look between you and your soon-to-be spouse are some of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer, I have a few other goals I'd like to take a second to share with you.

01.

Comfort.

It's really important to me, that both the bride + groom are comfortable in front of the camera.

While quality photos are important, perfection is not, because it's the natural, candid moments that make the best photos that will be framed on your walls for years to come.

02.

Trust.

Weddings are not an easy event. It's an emotion-filled day all around, and it's vital that you trust your wedding photographer to grab the photos you want. That's why, if you book my services, we will have a chat about the particular photos you want captured.

No fuss + no stress.

03.

Style.

Style is an important thing to have in common with your wedding photographer. During our meeting + consultation, I'll set up a Pinterest board to see how I can best fit your aesthetic & make sure your photos have the same energy as your wedding.

Easy peasy.

04.

Communication.

This is probably the most important aspect of working not only with a wedding photographer, but with anyone during your wedding. You will never have to worry about being able to reach me or asking questions before, during, or even after your wedding about your photos. I'm here to best help you.
